On Friday, October 2nd, 2026, the Scottish Arts and Humanities Alliance co-led a joint roundtable with the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
Hosted by SAHA co-Chairs Professor Catherine O’Leary and Professor Murray Pittock, MAE FRSE, and Head of Creative Industries at the Arts and Humanities Research Council, Mrs Audra Gill, the event provided an excellent opportunity for all SAHA members and stakeholders to have a fruitful and open conversation on Creative Industries and Creative Industries Clusters Scotland and the UK.
The event, which took place in the Royal Society of Edinburgh, is part of the Alliance’s strategy to provide a united, public voice on matters relating to the arts and humanities in Scotland and advocate for the sector, enhancing understanding of their intellectual, creative, and social as well as economic, contribution to the wellbeing and advancement of Scottish society.
