Engage with leading thinkers and ignite your curiosity through this programme of free talks, workshops, tours, and exhibitions.

Now in its sixth year, Curious is a vibrant celebration of learning, inviting diverse minds to come together to learn, discuss big ideas, ask questions, and get curious. The free festival runs 2–15 September.

It connects audiences to cutting-edge research and ideas, with activities led by scholars across varied fields such as artificial intelligence, poetry, neurology, legal reform, how to make urban spaces work better for women, health and social care, food security, palaeontology, neurodiversity, space exploration, and more.

Curious offers events that are held in person, with some also available through a livestream – and each one is completely free.

In this celebration of extraordinary people discussing big ideas, challenge your perspectives, ask probing questions, and gain fresh insights.

With a huge variety of topics, there’s something for everyone. So, are you Curious?
