Following Scottish Government’s call for evidence through the ‘Local food for everyone – a discussion’ Consultation, SAHA has submitted a written contribution in November 2021.

SAHA’s recommendations focused on heritage and tourism mainly, highlighting that there needs to be a better engagement with the tourism industry. Branding and the use of Scottish iconic historic personalities and landmarks in marketing efforts, such as Robert Burns, were also put forward as ways to support local economies.
